Interesting that they take the time to write an article for the 9% that think the AAC is better.

Next headline, “Conclusive Evidence that the Moon Landing was not Faked”.

The Big East is a dying conference, right BillyBud?

The complete disaster of a product we have produced over the last few years certainly doesn't help the numbers any.

It's probably the best question to ask Aresco, which nobody seems to ask.

"What are you doing to fix the poor out-of-conference basketball scheduling of some of your members, which are horribly impacting your metrics for the whole conference?"

Looking at ECU and USF, particularly, as they're multi-year offenders.

USF was actually not bad last year. Tulane is a better example.

One of the major differences in the conferences, and it brings all the numbers down, is the very poor teams at the bottom of the AAC. The BE just doesn't have the fodder the AAC does.

I'm glad we made the move, but I'm not sure this is so cut and dry. Villanova's greatness has skewed things somewhat, and the bottom of the AAC makes things look a lot worse. On average it's pretty close as to which is better.
Don't misunderstand, I'd take Seton Hall over Tulsa 10 times out of 10.

The top of the Big East is a lot better. The bottom of the Big East is a lot better.

The middle of the Big East is a little better.

The AAC might have a claim to "the middle of our conference is only marginally worse than those of some of the top 6 basketball conferences".

“Power 6” really means “usually the 6th best conference.”

In football and basketball.

Nothing more nothing less and that’s why it was such a stupid branding attempt to start with

2-8 is pretty comparable.
AAC bottom is an absolute dumpster fire.

5 bid league vs a 3 bid league. That is all you need to know. Conference games helping your resume vs hurting your resume.

The pro-AAC argument was supposed to he FB and as a result more $$$$ in the media deal. Didn't pan out. AAC is now the old Conference USA having a good run.

UConn is where it would be if FB schools left all at once and the C7 didn't leave. The only original BE school with a FB program. Cincy and USF would never have been invited otherwise.
