Big East Tournament

Only seen this on Xaviers website?
They just posted it. You beat me to the punch. I just saw it, and was going to post it. This is what we've been waiting for. :) Each team was originally scheduled to play 20 conference games. Some of those were postponed.

No mention was made as to those games being rescheduled. Per the graphic below, Villanova has only played 10 conference games to date, with 11 days left in the conference season which ends on March 1st. Xavier has only played 6 games, while Butler has played the most at 15.

Action tips off on Friday, March 5 with the First Round. BEDN will stream all three games beginning at 11 a.m. ET when the No. 8 seed faces the No. 9 seed. Play continues with the 7-10 matchup at 2 p.m., before the 6-11 tilt wraps up Day 1 at 5 p.m.

Friday's 8-9 winner will face the No. 1 seed (UConn) in the first quarterfinal game on Saturday, March 6, with tipoff slated for noon ET. FS1 will provide coverage of the day's first quarterfinal before FS2 picks up the remaining three games, beginning at 3 p.m. when the No. 4 seed faces the No. 5 seed. The evening session tips off with the No. 2 seed against the winner of the 7-10 matchup at 6 p.m. on FS2, before the No. 3 seed wraps up the four-game day against the winner of Friday's 6-11 showdown. Tipoff for that game is slotted for 9 p.m. on FS2.

Very thorough, @Carnac. Thank you.

Almost two weeks between the last game and the start of the NCAA tournament. I know that is normal, but it is ridiculous.

Geno always seems to put that time to great use in preparing his team for the Big Dance.

If UConn loses a single game in the Big Least this season, we can all meet in NY in a very tall building and commence to jump out windows on the buddy system. Confident? You betcha.
