MAAC- 4 units=8.1 million
Based on amount of teams and how deep teams went. Most conference split dollars between all teams.

The money goes to the conference not a team
I‘m sure St Peter didn’t turn the money down from other distributions.
The conference can decide how to distribute it but it’s unusual not to be equal. There have been cases were new adds received nothing or in the case of the AAC almost all the money Earned by the the defunct Big East was divided between, UConn, Cinncy, and USF. That was also true of Exit fee .

It is not fully transparent from the league, but it was out a few years ago that the team that earned the unit(s) gets 50% and the other 50% was split amongst the other teams. And, it is spread over 6 years so credits from 2016 should be ending.. that was the the rumor anyway.
