But another reason could be that the Big East teams, with the possible exception of UConn, don't have big highs or lows. They are steady teams that show up every night, and give their best effort, whatever that is. There is not a lot of volatility in performance with Marquette or Providence or even Seton Hall, or most of the schools. They might not be able to beat the top teams in the country, but they don't show up and lay an egg. This makes them tough to beat at home. They aren't going to blow it for you. [/QUOTE]
