Not really a preseason tournament if it takes place in December. The concept isn't bad though. Wouldn't have to be a tournament though. I'd be happy with 2 games in 3 days between a group of UConn, Cuse, Gtown/Nova, throw anyone else in.

Round robin in December with UConn, Cuse, WV, and Nova would make for incredible TV

They should just have St John's, UMass, Rutgers & BC and hold it at Carnasecca.

Save MSG for big boy events like the UConn-Cuse matchup this December.

I think this is an awesome idea, fans would LOVE it, but it unfortunately probably won't happen. Even if you just had a few match ups:

Syracuse - UConn
Villanova - Pittsburgh
Louisville - Georgetown
Providence - Cincinnati

Too bad one of Louisville, Pitt, or Cuse didn't go to the big ten or big 12. Could have had an awesome four team tournament between UConn/Big East/ACC/Big 10.

It's been mentioned before, but the one perk to being in the AAC is always being chosen in any of these events that need to refrain from doubling down on conferences. In event like this, we get chosen 10/10 where one of Nova/Georgetown, Cuse/Pitt, always get left out.
