St. John's kicks it off with Joson Sanon. I know 429 offered comments about him when he was being recruited but don't recall any specifics. Looks as if he had a pretty solid year at AZ St. with 11.9 points per game on 36.9% three point shooting in 28 minutes.
The article mentions him being at a MSG game last year while being recruited and that experience stayed with him. Maybe that will be the case if UConn pursues players they recruited but who chose to make a mistake and go elsewhere.
Of note, Sanon took no visits, just listened to his agent who told him if you have a chance to play at MSG under a Hall of Fame coach you should take it. Better get Dan Hurley in the Hall soon........

Sanon transferring to St. John's after year at ASU
Transfer wing Joson Sanon has committed to St. John's and coach Rick Pitino, he told ESPN. He averaged 11.9 points per game in his one season at Arizona State.
