NEW YORK – UConn’s Paige Bueckers earned player of the week for the third time this year after averaging 24.5 points in a 1-1 week. Seton Hall’s Jada Eads averaged 15.0 points, 6.0 rebounds, 3.5 assists and 1.5 steals in a 2-0 week to be named freshman of the week.

Can we somehow note in the thread title which week the awards are for or is this same thread going to be updated weekly?
I read the OP and couldn't believe that Sarah wasn't one of the two big winners for this past week, then saw the date of the post.
I am kinda surprised that Ashlynn didn't make Honorable Mention after her Iowa State performance.

So there have been 3 Freshman & Player of the week awards so far this season and Sarah has won both awards on 1 and 3 week of the award and Paige took the second week Player award. They keep this up UConn just might win every PoW award and Sarah getting some more double dip awards with both the FoW and PoW awards.

nice honors but I bet if you asked either of them, they'd say that those awards are meaningless if UConn doesn't win a national championship......

Paige has 4 players of the week awards. And Sarah has 3. How do their stats compare:

Sarah - 175 points, 76 rebounds, 37 assists, 24 steals, 10 blocks

Paige - 147 points, 33 rebounds, 36 assists, 16 steals, 5 blocks

I would have Sarah as my big east player of the year right now. I would also have her as defensive player of the year.
