Big East Nostalgia

The TOP THREE teams in the ACC are from the old Big East (ND, Lousiville, Syracuse) and it would be the top four if UCONN was there. Also HALF of the final four for the last 5 years have been UCONN & ND: Yes, the old Big East (at least in terms of the top half) was just a WBB Goliath. Just also look at what they're doing in the new BE and even WV is in 4th place in the Big12.

Yes - it was by far the best WCBB conference before it was blown up by the men. And don't leave Louisville out in the cold as they were in the FF too. In an interesting way, the dissolution of the BE has actually increased the chances for more of its former teams to get into the dance - they now have much better conference records!
