Good to hear. Eliminates any lingering thoughts of the new ACC coming in and taking over the Garden for their tournament.

It's not only advantageous for the Big East, but also benefits MSG by eliminating any thoughts that the Big East might take its tournament to the new Barclays Center in Brooklyn. The Barclays arena has already taken the annual Coaches vs. Cancer Classic away from MSG, beginning in November 2012, and is competing aggressively with MSG for other events as well.
