If you had told me a few years ago that a Shaka Marquette team was going to put up 14 in a half against DePaul, I would have never believed you. Crazy how bad a season they’re having.

DePaul with a nice win today against Marquette away. They control their destiny for the 5th spot and look like they might get it. Villanova at home with now Hodege out for nova and Butler at home. They could even finish 4th if things fall right with Seton Hall. Pretty impressing season for DePaul based on being a bottom dweller for so long in thr big east.

DePaul currently in 5th place and inside track for a first round bye for BE tourney. Who would have thought?

DePaul, Creighton, & Providence could all legitimately finish 9-11 for the year, tied for 5th.

Heck of a year so far for DePaul, nice to see.

They have to play the best teams twice, every year

DePaul swept Creighton by a total of 2 points and Providence swept DePaul.

Providence would get themselves a bye and give UConn the #1 seed.

Double round robin is the best. Only way to crown a legitimate champion.

I don’t care that it’s close to zero. As long as blue is showing there, Providence has as good of a chance as anyone to still come in last place.
