W Mich 30 UConn 24
Ball St 31 USF 27
Penn St 24 Temple 13

Rutgers losing to Ark 10-7
Lousiville losing to FIU 14-7

On the disaster scale, 10 being worst, we're a 10, Louisville would be a 10 if they lose, USF an 8, Temple a 4, and Rutgers, sorry to say, no more than a 1-2 if a 3-pt gap holds.

A team in this league is going to the BCS. It's going to make the UConn Fiesta Bowl team look like the 85 Bears.

It's the cumulative effect.
2 MAC teams + a team on probation, so far

Wait...the Big East isn't very good at football? Where have I been?

We absolutely need Rutgers and the Ville to win tonight. I expected Temple to be weak this year, as many did (because of their personnel losses from last year), but everything else is falling apart right now...

Yeah, it was disastrous when a BE team destroyed a media-beloved ACC team in the Orange Bowl last year.

Oh wow . . . You mean the Big 12s West Virginia Mountaineers? Great rebuttal! Thanks for making my point.

Thankfully, Louisville has just tied it up 14-14 before half, and Rutgers is up on Arkansas 14-10 at the half. Hopefully, the league can avoid a nuclear meltdown tonight...

Good thing Memphis is on the way. Duke has turned it over 4 times and only leads them by 17.

Hey now, Duke's got a pretty good football program. You don't just walk into Durham, NC and think you're coming out of it unscathed.

You can't claim them. Stop it.

I see. So if Georgetown leaves the Big East, we can no longer say that we're the first conference to put 3 teams in the Final 4?

Rutgers scoring some more. Of course as they do the media narrative shifts to how bad Arkansas is.

Of course we will still be able to claim three. Memphis was in that final four along with Nova, Georgetown & St John's.

Thankfully Lou now up 28-14 on FIU.
But RU close to choking against Ark, hangin on 28-26.

Arkansas is going to have an awful year, but that won't stop RU fans from crowing from the rooftops until they stub their toe, hopefully against UConn.

I'll bet my bank account that John L Smith is no longer head coach come Monday.

I'm surprised we havent heard from RutgersAl talking about their win over an SEC team whose name starts with "A" ... thus proving the SKnights should be ranked #1.

You think RU's early success is based on a more relaxed atmosphere among the coaches and the players?

His assistant turn over was fairly high it seemed. His arrogance probably kept coaches from doing their job.
