I do think it's odd that the #7 scorer in league games "only" made 3rd team, but that's a question for the coaches. I do understand that looking at Azzi in a vacuum one might not think she deserved 1st team BE honors, but given the list above, I think it's much more understandable. Also, it's NOT just scoring PPG that goes into the honors - I think Azzi's defense is top notch and it would not surprise me if her all around game vaulted her ahead of the 2 players statistically ahead of her in PPG in the league...
