Marquette outscored Creighton 20-11 in Q4 to claim a 3 point win. Big game in the race for 2nd place in the BE.

Coming into today there were 4 teams w/ 3 conference losses, although differing numbers of wins. Still wide open for that #2 spot.

And today Creighton at Marquette was a close one with the home team winning it with a late game lead change.

So in the Game following UConn, Marquette came from 8 down in the final quarter to beat Creighton. Not very pretty but pretty tense as can be imagined. 49-48

It was weird for me watching the game because I really didn't want to care who was going to win it. But as Marquette got closer, then grabbed the lead and finally won, I was glad that they pulled it off in front of the hometown crowd.
