On 11 Feb 22 ranked teams are playing (and some are playing each other). Right now the picture's pretty clouded, but by the end of the next two weeks we should have a much better idea of the relative strengths (or weaknesses) of the ranked teams. There's not much drama to the AAC race, but the SEC and Big 10 should be interesting.
I would say that the fate of all the P5 conferences is very much up in the air this year.
ACC - ND appears to once again be the #1 team, but can anyone determine how the next four teams will finish or who they will ultimately be?
Big10 - MD and Ohio appear to be the top two teams, with MSU, NW, and Purdue following but in what order?
Big12 - Baylor and Tx have distanced themselves a bit from the rest, but ...?
Pac12 - who knows - any of 6 teams might ultimately win and the sequence of those teams is anyones guess right now.
SEC - SC definitely looks like they are the top team though not quite so unassailable as expected - after that the usual chaos of teams that will win and lose on a home and home basis throughout conference play?
Some of this 'chaos' is the result of teams really raising their standards, but I think it is also greatly driven by some weakness in traditionally strong teams.
