People makes choices from among the options available.  UConn's options were the AAC and Big East, and UConn made the right choice by going to the Big East.  There are no other choices for UConn, at least not right now.  Endless complaining about not being in a league that we have no path to get into is like going into your office and telling your boss that your company sucks because you would rather be the Head of Trading at Goldman Sachs.  That is not one of most people's options, so why bother complaining about it?

The endless Big East bashing is pointless.  There is nothing we can do about it, and UConn's athletic department's future success is 100% dependent on the Big East succeeding enough to get us into some other league.  Crapping on something that is not fixable is not insight or "keeping it real" it is being an *$%hole.
