Did you watch Mich St v Georgia? Mich St only won because of crunch time play calling by Georgia that made ours at Vandy look divinely inspired. To not try for a first down with 2 min left in regulation , which would have wrapped up the game---or failing to gain yardage for your kicker, letting a third down go unused in overtime, was criminal. After all the pressure FG mIsses this year at AL, Boise, Oregon, etc--to leave your kicker with a 43 yarder to win it all--was a joke. Mark Richt has very small onions.
Maybe Wisc can save the day.

That series was straight out of the Marty Schottenheimer/Herm Edwards school of late game coaching. Just because you're in medium to long FG range doesn't mean you shouldn't try to get into short FG range.
