Best thing about the Tulsa game

coach changing his rotations

he's figuring this out

it seems like he’s figured out to play sid and go athletic instead of Carlton which is good. But damn, it’s really hard to feel good about anything right now. We will see if benching gilbert is something that happens more...I think he goes back to gilbert next game.

Does he still plop Josh out there to start vs Temple?
play Sid at the 4 and Akok at the 5.

My guess is we see the same starting lineup except they sub in Whaley for Carlton. I would imagine Sid and Akok get the majority of playing time at the 4 and 5.

I know, we need a few wins, maybe a more athletic team can get us a bunch down the stretch. We know what we were doing wasn't working

Or maybe he's pushing buttons. Just refreshing not watching the same ole same ole

Of course. It takes time. He is just 47. Legend Jim Calhoun did not win his first until 57 (48 was his first elite 8). Imagine what Danny will be in ten years (at this rate)...Who knows! But he is still young by coaching standards.

So he could put up another bagel? No thanks
Mmm I'm thinking more of Tyler Orlander role. We'll need his fouls. Why not use them up front rather than having to sit Akok because he picked up a couple quick ones?

I would reward the kids and start the group that went on the 12-0 run. Part of me thinks he wants to but figures it’s easier to justify benching the “experienced” guys after they start and play poorly.
Earlier I thought the reason for not making a move was not wanting to lose the vets that would be sitting. After this latest stretch, I don't see that as a bug.

The best part of the Tulsa game was the 91 year old man having the time of his life. Other than that, game was a cluster on both sides.
