If you're talking about the lot across from the baseball stadium, that is no longer. There is a building going up there now. I think this is the lot the previous poster was referring to.Never had too big an issue parking in the big lot across Church St from XL
I have a secret spot for Gampel I will never reveal
Free street parking in Hartford - weeknights after 6pm also.Street parking is free on the weekends in Hartford. I don't usually use the lots around XL but last time I did I think it was 15.00?
Nope... he's talking about Church Street/Ann Uccello St - the same corner as the back entrance to the XL.If you're talking about the lot across from the baseball stadium, that is no longer. There is a building going up there now. I think this is the lot the previous poster was referring to.

Do they not let people out the side exit of that lot anymore? Been up there a couple times in the past few months and it's always closed. Used to be an easy out and to 84 out of that exit. Going out the main gate is a pain in the holeNope... he's talking about Church Street/Ann Uccello St - the same corner as the back entrance to the XL.
Yes that’s how I’ve always gotten out onto Chapel. Not always fun/quick, but openDo they not let people out the side exit of that lot anymore? It’s been much worse than 30 minutes lol. I spent 1 1/2 hrs in there on senior night against Houston in. 2020XL Center - Depends where you live. I need to get on I-84 East so I park in the Morgan Street lot at 1000 Main Street that is on the corner of Main Street and Talcott St. (https://www.lazparking.com/local/hartford-ct/morgan-st-lot). You can also get to Rt. 2 and I-91 South very easily from there. It's only about a 5 minute walk but far enough away from XL Center not to be caught up in all the traffic and people walking out of the game.
Gampel - I refuse to park in the North Garage. Took me 30 minutes to get out of there once. I parked in Lot N the other day. Easy in and easy out (note: getting out they won't let you get back out to N. Eagleville Rd. to Rt. 195 so you need to take the back way on to Discovery Drive out to Rt. 44). About a 5 minute walk up the hill to Gampel. They charge $20, cash only. UConn Basketball Parking
That's 20 minutes longer than my impatient self can handle! At 9:00 and an hour + ride home I can't sit there for that long trying to get out of a garage. Got out of Lot N, which is exactly the same distance to Gampel, in 1 minute the other day because I parked close to the exit. Probably need to get there early to do that again but we were there early to see the banner reveal at 6:30.North Garage wasn’t terrible on Wednesday. It took about 20 minutes to get out of. Its been worse

Never had an issue getting a space there.Questions:
(i) is there an easy way to get there heading north on I-91 and
(ii) does it fill up quickly?
We all do. If you don’t you’re a casual fan, lol.I have a secret spot for Gampel I will never reveal
