Griner is the best player in the country, but anyone who doesn't vote for KML as a first team AA this season shouldn't be allowed to vote.

Chiney is best player in the country.

Griner is the best player in the country but KML is the best offensive player in the country. She is truly amazing with the variety of places she scores from. As was said before, if she isn't chosen to be 1st team AA this season, it's an insult to anyone who cares or knows a bit about WBB.

The more I watch her the more I compare her game to DT. Same trajectory too....freshman year all they did was shoot outside and now in 2nd year adding the inside game. If only she had the ball handling skills of Dee

Please.

Please what? She beat Griner this year and out played her. Chiney has more skills and athleticism than Griner. Being tall is not a skill. I agree KML should be first team AA though.

what makes Griner the best player? Being tall? I don't see her having good moves or footwork, and imho, she is lazy on O and D.

and Nneka was better than Griner last year, which she proved in the WNBA.

Sorry Card...but I got to go with Griner...having seen our girls play both Baylor and Stanford...Chiney can be guarded and is containable but Griner can't be contained and is darn near impossible to guard.

With regards to who was better last year Griner or Nneka, Nneka hasn't proven anything in the WNBA...Griner isn't there yet...the two comparisons aren't linked. The only linkage is that Baylor with Griner won the national championship, Nneka didn't. Who was the national player of the year in 2011-2012 season?

The only flaw I see Griner has is will and taking the path of least resistance. That means she is often lazy and fails to do whatever is necessary. Her footwork isn't bad nor is it quick. It is infuriating to consider how great she might be if she played with the tenacity of Tina Charles or Kelly Faris.

ROY doesn't prove anything?? Did you not pay attention to what Nneka did this past year? Even Candice Parker said Nneka was the most impressive player she's played with, and she has played with Griner. Nneka out played Griner in the NC game too. The guards won the game for BU, not Griner.

If Griner would have played with the tenacity of Tina Charles or Kelly Faris she would have been like Wilt in the early 60's NBA with 50 points and 25 rebounds per game.
