New turf fields will allow games and practices to held after inclement weather. A big benefit for many programs.

This really can’t be understated along with the performance center. Sharing the football facility or using star hill in nearby Tolland wasn’t ideal. These kids won’t be limited by New England weather any longer...

I posted it in the UConn Baseball 2021 thread a few days ago. Something like this deserves to spread around to this and some other baseball threads as well.
