I enjoy watching the bench and seeing the team and obviously hurley going wild on the sideline. Anyone know why they switched the view and if it’s permanent?

Gotta assume more room for advertisements. And so... no it ain't coming back this year.

Based on answers in other threads it has to do with multiple rows for the bench so they can be spread out and so that the advertisers get ALL that space. Wondering why they can't make the advertisements area smaller considering its just the name of the company and give the fans what they want.

The Mohegan Sun has the bench views on TV ... so assuming UConn plays those games next week then will get to see the team sitting.

Might also be because they want to spread out the people sitting at the scorers table.

The bench actually interferes with the TV shot. You could see the FS1 cameraman struggling to get the bench off the lower edge of the shot with a closeup, which made the whole game jerky.

Hope whoever does the camera tonight does a better job. The basket wasnt in frame for like half of the game lol
