I think there's nine or 10, likely low budget movies. Surprised I had never heard of these movies before.

I'm a big Selleck fan. These are light drama cop movies. Selleck plays Jesse Stone, the sheriff in a small seaside resort town in Massachusetts. Only three other officers.

Not at all action movies. Someone is murdered, a smoking hot woman unambiguously tells him they should wrinkle up the sheets. Then he moves on to solve the crime.

Here's a link on how best to watch. I chose chronological order, because I have a hard to following movies that just around.

I watched a few of them. They are paced pretty nicely to match the small town feel and Selleck does a good job. Not high end entertainment but enjoyable.

Robert Parker was a good, if a bit formulaic writer, and the Stone books were a nice diversion from the Spenser books. The films are easy going and fun fare. Selleck defines "minimalist" acting.
