Assateague Island, home of the wild horses, is an amazing beach and a place you must visit if you head down that way. Nearby Bethany Beach and Rehoboth make great day trips. Berlin, MD is another nearby town you may want to visit. I was going to go back to OC this summer, but now plan to rent a beach house in Old Lyme.
