This is just a few of the thousand’s of words to be put here tween now and Thursday but to put it simply our team in the last few weeks has answered the bell. We lose by 3 away to Creighton who we beat previously. Jan 25th was Xavier who is now without Freemantle. Put away Providence and Marquette, St. John’s easily. Marquette is sitting at #6 but why are we #14? ( will likely change). The refs have not been kind to say the least but unless we go into the crapper shooting wise for a game things look good, but effort and defense are key. Opposing coaching strategy might be of St. John’s which is rock fight annd do anything short of assault and battery and hope the refs don’t call it. And even a close loss on a last second shot should not put a damper too much on the NCAA Which for 6 games would need a little luck at some point. We have a lot of players who in any given game can be a big factor. Anyway, just getting it rolling.

When you play in these tournaments where games are daily . Your prone to upset as the best team can have an off day.. Hopefully our bench comes through for us as its role becomes bigger .
How difficult your previous game was can also be a factor .
If you remember last season going OT to beat Auburn and then having little left in the tank against MSU in the finals.
Take them one at a time use as many players as you can and we will be fine.

I think we beat Providence but you never love facing a decent team after they've been taken to the woodshed - they usually either come out firing or roll over completely, not much in between.

Think Nova could make a decent run as not only does the bracket fall their way but I actually think the extra game helps them gel a little bit. Always felt like playing an extra game was always a sneakily positive thing too; obviously you have the potential of getting knocked out quickly but if you win you're rolling and you come into the next game with your sea legs under you. Has played out a few times recently w/ the play in games in the tourney.

The only home court advantage at this point is in our favor. We ripped through the only other single elimination tournament we've played this year. The team is starting to figure out its roles again. Will be a tough side of the bracket but if we don't win the whole thing it's not because we don't have the talent.

Could be on our favor, teams not having enough time to adjust to us with back to back games. Guess we have as much little time to adjust counteractively as well but I think we have the edge

Speculation: Nahiem will be the MVP or close to it for one game this tournament.
