Alright, so looking at all the teams with 5 losses and fewer, it looks like we may have a tough go even if we win out (and our only chance is to win out--damn you refs @Marquette!). But, let's imagine we do, and look for what else we need to have happen:

So we need each of the three teams ahead of us to lose at least once (Georgetown 2x).

Georgetown
In the scenario in which we win out, Georgetown is 11-4, and now needs one more loss (frankly, I don't care if we split this title 15 ways...) We then need to pull for Villanova or Syracuse.

Marquette
We really need Notre Dame to come through on the road, here, otherwise we need St. John's...

Louisville
They've got three teams that can conceivably beat them. Probably our best bet is to pull for Syracuse at home.

So, take care of business, and we probably need Syracuse to go 2-1 (with the loss being DePaul) to have a shot, and we need Notre Dame to take out Marquette.

We'd be 10-4, and provided we beat Georgetown (a big if) we would have some wiggle room to drop another game, potentially. We lose one, and its over now. Also, if they called that game right and there was a 5 team tie (or something crazy), we'd be 4-1 against the other top 5 teams. That's the one game that really irks me.

I dislike Gtown more then almost anyone alive. I hope fans realize that we have a good shot to win this game but there is just as good a chance that we lose to those POSs. Besides my burning desire not to lose to both pitt (scum) and Gtown in the same season and the last season at that- the meltdown if we lose will be epic around here.
