Assume UConn beats ND in the return game and both teams finish the regular season with one conference loss and therefore tied. How is the tie broken to award the top seed in the BE tourney?

To me this is important because I see Georgetown as the likely 3 seed and much tougher than whoever the 4 seed would be, including Rutgers.

Flip of a coin in the league office.

Meyers -- Are you sure they flip a coin?

My memory (age 77) is that they call it a tie: "Co-Champions".
They call it co-champions, but the coin flip is needed for seeding in the BE tourney.
