It's true. I heard it at Max's Carwash. BC is starting a new Conference with it's NCAA Football peers. Invites will only be to teams that did not win any conference games in 2015.

Peers Conference

ACC.......Boston College............0-8
AAC........UCF............................0-8
B12..........Kansas........................0-9
CUSA.......Charlotte....................0-8
MtW.........Hawaii.......................0-8
Mid Am.....E. Mich....................0-8
Pac 12.......Org st.........................0-8

Predictions/Standings for 2016?

Has any school gone winless in conference in basketball and football in the same year?

AAC football is slightly better than expected (I knew it would be good). The basketball is a little disappointing.

AAC has improved a lot football wise. At one point this year there were four ranked teams. They finished with two. It may not be P-5 but it is right now by far the best non-P-5 conference
In related news, I once got to play center on A midget basketball team against another team of midgets. I dominated like a young Shaq, minus the dunks. I rebounded like Andre Drummond. Wish you guys could have seen it.

I guess you didn't get my point. As long as UConn is on the outside of the P5, the AAC is the best place for them football wise. It gives them the best chance to return to a major bowl game. Most likely over the next few years the non-P-5 CFP bowl team will come from the AAC. Getting to that game would validate UConn football and increase their chances for a P-5 bid. Using your midget basketball analogy I guess Florida State should be embarrassed that they lost by two touchdowns to a midget football team from University of Houston in the Peach Bowl. Pitt also lost 44-28 to a midget team from Navy.

I was just fahking around. I don't have a serious bone in my body. I guess you mean the New Years 6 bowl, because I doubt a non P5 team will ever qualify for a 4 team playoff.

Strange how Memphis has turned out back to back good years in football but been a general dude in hoops. Who saw that coming?

Never overestimate the Eagles.

I just looked at BC's men's basketball schedule for 2015/6 and, I knew it was bad; but, oh my God. Losses to UMass Lowell at home, Penn St at home, UC Irvine nuetral site, OT win against UNH at home. Not a single away win and just 1 neutral site win (against Fordham). Their best win looks to be home against Harvard so far.

1) W - Bentley (DII) @ BC, 85 to 75
2) W - St. Francis Brooklyn (DI - NEC) @ BC, 75-49
3) W - CCSU (DI - NEC) @ BC, 82-57
4) W - Harvard (DI - Ivy) @ BC, 69-56
5) L - Michigan St (DI- B1G) @ neutral site, 68-99
6) L - UC Irvine (DI - Big West) @ neutral site, 67-80
7) L - Santa Clara (DI - WCC) @ neutral site, 45-62
8) L - Penn St (DI - B1G) @ BC, 58-67
9) L - UMass Lowell (D1 - AE) @ BC, 66-68
10) L - Providence (D1 - Big East) @ Providence, 51-66
11) W - Maine (D1 - AE) @ BC, 91-60
12) W - Delaware (D1 - AE) @ BC, 69-61
13) W - Fordham (D1 - A10) @ neutral site, 64-55
14) W - New Hampshire (D1 - AE) @ BC, 72-67 (OT)
15) L - Duke (DI - ACC) @ BC, 64-81
16) L - ND (D1- ACC) @ BC, 54-82
17) L - Syracuse (DI-ACC) @ Syracuse, 40-62
18) L - Pitt (DI- ACC) @ Pitt, 61-84
19) L - Miami (DI-ACC) @ BC, 53-67
20) L - ND (D1-ACC) @ ND, 49-67
21) L - FSU (DI-ACC) @ BC, 62-72
22) L - UNC (DI-ACC) @ UNC, 62-89

Remaining games: @ UVA, @ Louisville, home UNC, home Syracuse, @ Clemson, @ Wake, home V Tech, home G Tech, @ NC State, home Clemson

Will the Eagles win again. Maybe 50/50 only because they are lucky to have G Tech (so-so record at 12-9; but, have been in most games), Wake (poor record at 10-10; but, have beaten ranked teams in Indiana and LSU) V Tech and NC State left on their schedule.
