Every time I see a BC game at home and the thousands of empty seats they have for every home game, it makes me furious that they are grandfathered in a P5 club.

I'm in Boston for the night and went out to watch games in beacon hill. They had nearly every game on but one omission was hilariously obvious. How can a Boston bar not even have "New England's team" on?

Well when you look at the scores today (and the whole season) of BC, Syracuse, and Rutgers and the score of WVU earlier this week and just their general performance since leaving the Big East, perhaps it should shed some perspective on the fans who worry non stop about the P5. TV money and the title can't save you from the reality of being an outlier in a southern/mid west league that has too many good teams for you to compete in.
