Tark won at UNLV. Damn near impossible.

gonna disagree on Tark.

Simply an amazing record at some really hard to rise Universities. Long Beach State. UNLV. Fresno State. He had wonderful teams. And, he (not totally dissimilar to Calhoun) did it by working discipline into Urban kids who did not come from great homes. (READ ... not like Duke) They were very fast and very good. He distinctly changed West Coast hoops in style. He was a dominant presence.

I remember watching their game on TV against UCLA in the Astrodome in '68. They won beating the #1 Bruins. UCLA came back to destroy them in the NCAA Final Four that year! I think they won by about 30 points. Of course that game was played in L.A.
