So happy for Bazz. But it’s pretty clear what they are doing here, they are showcasing him in games after they are out of reach in hopes of unloading him. Hope he does get traded to a contender, plenty of them need a PG.

He’s stuck behind D’Angelo Russell and Spencer Dinwiddie who are both good players with relatively high upside. But it’s clear Shabazz needs to play. He can help a team. The Nets need help. Might not be the right fit though.

Not sure at all that is what they are doing. The Nets were getting blown out in the second of a back to back and Atkinson played the second unit most of the game. The reason Bazz isn't playing much is because they are trying to figure what to do with Russell at years end. Do they extend him and for what amount? Bazz has an extremely team friendly contract and could be moved in a second.

Bazz would make an excellent backup or 3rd PG on a good team. Steady enough for that role.

He's on a league minimum contract with a non-guaranteed team option for next season. Essentially the least possible commitment a team can make to a player. Seems like he had very little interest around the league this past summer.

I’m shocked he’s making so little. As a Rocket fan, I’d love to have him while CP3 is out.

Maybe Portland would want him back. I thought they liked him.

Chances the wizards pick him up with john wall down? I'm not familiar with their $$$ situation, so I don't know if it's feasible

The Portland situation was ideal for him, playing behind two star guards and not having to play too many minutes. His lack of size defensively must have really hurt his free agent value this summer.

He’s really a solid player now. Just needs the right circumstances. Sometimes, coaches can’t get their heads around who plays and who should play. Not only is Bazz a good scorer and shooter, his distribution skills are really strong right now. Someone should be giving him 20+ minutes. I think he has developed both physically and skill wise, to be an effective starter.

My Bucks need a PG badly to be able to put garbage Bledsoe on the bench when he starts chucking. I can only hope...

Or his agent sucks. I’ve been feeling like he isn’t promoting his client to the correct suitors.

Shabazz starting against the Celtics tonight, will be fun to see him out there. Hoping he shows up in his first start with the Nets.

Looking good on offense, but the size mismatch is presenting some trouble for Bazz on defense.

8/4 & 6 assists so far. But too many turnovers.
