Somehow the performances last year feel more meaningful than the ones in 2012 (e.g. that Nova game).

Maybe that's because last year the expectations were a lot lower and the stakes were, ironically, somewhat higher (new coach, shaky conference situation, concerns about fading into irrelevance)? Also, that team was a lot more fun to root for.

I was at that BET game, and that was a great comeback led by Bazz with his steals and fast break points. Sadly, have not found any highlights, either.
