player in college basketball according to USA today. OK so it isn't an official award but his play is rightly getting some serious recognition. Good to see. It's very special to have players spend four years playing for your team and contributing to so many wins over those years. It's not possible to feel that connection with 1 and done's even though you can love those players too. This kid is really fun to watch!

Actually the media should continue to promote our 4 year star. He's a walking testimony of success in the face of one and dones, and early declaration NBA failures. He should be the face of college basketball, that underclassmen (e.g. Boat) should look up to.

NBA or not, Bazz is what NCAA 'scholarship' basketball used to be about. Nowadays the sport is suffering from too many NBA instant wannabees, as a result of media hype.

I guess I'm just a college basketball fan much more than an NBA fan.
