This game will say a lot about this season for us. We got kicked in the teeth and if we don’t responded and win, well that’s not good.

Big game for resume building… right now ours don’t look too great.

McNeeley can guard Celestine fine at the 4 (and it will be better than him guarding Edgecombe at the 3). But the opening Baylor lineup where they play both bigs might be tough for us to matchup with without Karaban. I guess you put Stewart on Omier? Yuck.

He gives up 35 pounds to Omier also, unfortunately. We gotta play them out of that big lineup asap.
Without Karaban, and with our bigs seemingly already in foul trouble, I'd like to see some junk zone D thrown in tonight, or at least an adjustment to a less aggressive extending man. Otherwise we are gonna get iso'd at 4 and 5 until everyone over 6-7 has 3 fouls by the end of first half.

Long term, Ak being out (hopefully for just this game), forces Stew or Ross to step up, and gain confidence in themselves and in the coaches eyes.

Great night for the young guys to grow up.

This will pay massive dividends come February, March and next year
