Only interesting thing about this game is whether the former RU top assistant Carlene Mitchell has toughened up the Gauchos, who used to be totally a finesse team.

Why, oh why, does ESPN think this is the more compelling, competitive game when St. Bonaventure and Florida Gulf Coast is a one point game? I guess I just don't understand the whip around concept.

Anyone remember when UCSB was at the XL Center for the early rounds and played UConn? I LOVED their mascot. Poor gaucho, everytime he tried to start a U-C-S-B cheer, after he got U-C out, the crowd (naturally) finished with -O-N-N! He ended up playing into it and he was very entertaining.

I went down to SB for a couple of games and they looked like a mediocre team in a mediocre conference. I was shocked when they won their tournament.

Those people at ESPN are clueless. I'm so glad they didn't get the Men's Tourney as they would have butchered that as well. People aren't so in love with Griner that they want to see Baylor steamroll a 16 seed. I'm in CT and I would ask - Why no Sacred Heart game? Are they only broadcasting that in a 10 mile radius of New Haven?
At least go to the St Bonnies game for goodness sake.
