At the game yesterday, I was thinking in the beginning of the second half that Hamilton was going to need to step up to give Boat and Purv help. The 2 were playing fantastic but SMU has so much fire power that if Hamilton/Brimah/Calhoun didn't step up we might not have had enough to beat the Mustangs. Then Danny Hams hits the 3 to give us the 54-53 lead and scored another 11 over the final 8 mins. Another great game for Danny Hams.

Now, after the game, looking at the team statistics, we now have FOUR guys averaging double figures (Boat: 17.7, Hamilton: 10.8, Purv: 10.5, Brimah: 10.4), but the thing is the three guys hovering around 10 arent consistent. Each night, one of them steps up to help Boat. Last night, 2 stepped up to help Boat. If 2 can consistently help him the rest of the way we are so difficult to contain offensively. This has been said many times on the BY. But looking at the stats, as an outsider, you would think we have a well balanced attack, but when you watch the games it's clear that its Boat and one guy stepping up on most nights, not 2 or 3 like the stats may show.
