. . . an additional Badass Award for the UConn vs. Oregon State game is awarded to Katie Lou Samuelson.
The basis for this belated award is the information that surfaced but was not verified until after the game. Lou apparently broke a bone in her foot very early in the game, then not only played through pain but scored, defended and rebounded until late in the first half.
That's about as Badass as it gets and she deserves our unique Boneyard form of recognition.
When practice begins in October, the new edition of the UConn Huskies will be led by an honest-to-God Badass: Katie Lou Samuelson.
