I was talking about the Cincinnati game at the HCC recently, and thinking about that awful call under our basket where the whole end of the arena saw the ball go out of bounds off Kromah and yet we got the ball back. Cronin must have burst several blood vessels in the subsequent freak out, and the refs clearly knew they blew the call because I have never seen a coach behave like that without at least a T if not an ejection.

It was just a regular season game, although it ended up being a big win for UConn in a close game.

What are some other calls that you remember that went our way?

Omar had a horrendous travel not called at Memphis. I believe he scored on the drive.

Was Lasan in bounds or out of bounds when he made that save at home against Memphis in regulation crunch time? (Obviously he was in bounds)

I remember watching the UConn Washington tourni game back in the disastrous 06 season. That was one of the first UConn teams I remember having more anxiety than fun watching. I remember thinking that we kept not deserving it. Going down huge against Albany in the 1st round. Just playing like crap. The guys looking like they'd rather be somewhere else. I remember being completely impressed by the guy on Washington who ended up being a good pro with knee issues out in Portland, I think. And I remember several really bad calls going our way, and I almost felt embarrassed by the win because I thought Wash had outplayed us in every way.

Didn't Rashad admit to getting a bit of Redick's arm during the 2004 semi-final? It wasn't as much a bad call as a no call that could have been disastrous to our cause. Considering all the touch fouls against EO in the first half, it was a fortuitous break that wasn't called.

In Maui in 2010 vs. Michigan State at the end of the game when the ball was clearly out on Niles and he even want diving for it, but they gave it to us. That play was one of the reasons we won the game, which clearly helped with our mindset for the rest of the year.

IIRC, he and Rudy got double-t's over nothing, and it was Roy's 4th or 5th. Changed the game.

First one that came to my mind too……..
Same. I was sitting one row off the floor for that one, on that end of the court. Great, great moment in UConn history. After being on the wrong end of bad calls for so long we felt zero regret for one that went our way.

Yeah. The fouls at the end of the UW game in 06 were definitely the first things to come to mind.

Funny thing about the Zona goaltend. Call was made by the best Pac 10 ref. Zona brought their refs to Gampel.

What was that play against cuse (years ago) where we got a bad call, or was it the other way around?

It happened near the out of bounds line.

Sorry for the vagueness, blame it on my age.

Kemba's flop against SDSU in 2011 that caused the other team to get a technical. Completely changed the game

When JB called time out and it was granted while the ball was loose?

About the only one I can remember is Murray Williams going coast-to-coast for a game-winning lay-up, stepping on the sideline a couple of times. Forgot who they were playing.
