Lol.......testing someone for myocarditis is like testing someone for a gunshot wound, and anyone with myocarditis can be one step away from congestive heart failure and should be in the ICU. Even walking up the stairs is out of the question, much less playing college football. Lots of things cause myocarditis not just Covid19. Rheumatic fever, bacterial infections, poisons, auto immune disease, to name a few.
Tough break for the kid. He's taking a real chance if he tries to come back from it and play college football again, but good luck to him.Georgia State’s Mikele Colasurdo out with COVID-19 related condition
Georgia State quarterback Mikele Colasurdo will not play this season after the freshman quarterback revealed he has a heart condition related to COVID-19. Colasurdo made the announcement on social media Thursday.www.ajc.com
"apparently"? Apparent based on any documented facts? Or, merely 1 wishful Nebraska fan's self-described "Personal (Twitter) acct to overreact to Husker sports stuff..." and his speculation on some Lincoln rumors? While the B1G may end up playing some football games this academic year, somehow insights from virologists, epidemiologists, and MDs with direct engagement with B1G teams may hold more water. (Edit: Interesting update on PSU MD misstatement, mis-reported comment, internal pressure?, etc TBD; advantage remains with virologists, epidemiologists, and respiratory and cardiac specialists > sports tweeters).apparently Warren has changed his mind and is now “trying to make this happen”

For example, PSU’s Dir of Athletic Medicine shared cardiac MRIs revealed 30-35% of B1G athletes tested positive for SARS-2, symptomatic or asymptomatic, appear to have myocarditis whichcan be fatal if untreated. Reasonably, the PSU MD also acknowledged it's still quite early since SARS-2 was reportedly first identified, much remains unknown, and inadequate understanding of SARS-2 contributed to the B1G and Pac-12 caution.
No shot at anyone, especially your unknown twitter account; just reasonably based on medical professional insights versus speculative Tweets lacking any medical documentation. No substance for an unfounded defensive reaction, but we can all agree it will be great when B1G games actually kick off late fall '20, spring '21, fall '21 ...Aside from the random (and unnecessary) shot at either my Twitter or Nebraska twitter, it's been pretty widely reported across multiple schools' outlets that the B1G will re-vote, likely tomorrow:

You don't re-vote at this point if you're coming back to the same conclusion. POTUS called Warren on Tuesday and alleviated a lot of the medical concerns, specifically around testing and costs/availability. School presidents and representatives that were either not speaking up or afraid to previously are now voicing support for playing. Nebraska called its players back to to practice today with the expectation to get ready for an October season.
Everything I've either stated or posted in here is sourced from someone with ties to the situation. I'm not making random stuff up just to be hopeful. The B1G is strongly considering an about face on this, and Kevin Warren has gotten completely and totally overtaken by both federal government involvement and the lawsuit that has been filed against the league. Again, we'll know more beginning (likely) tomorrow but I'm not on here just blowing smoke.
Edit- combine the above with the overwhelming high school football data showing no outbreaks 2-3 weeks into the season in certain areas and there's really zero reason to not play football. UCA ZERO positive tests after their Saturday game and have been tested twice. These kids are safer playing than they are not playing.
Of course he did for injecting obviouslyI go back and forth on whether they should try to play, but To bolster your argument you did not just really write “POTUS called Warren on Tuesday and alleviated a lot of the medical concerns”. Did he also bring bleach?
Should make for an interesting Friday news dump one way or the other (everyone has sources lol):
