USC competed against Game 1 of the World Series just a few miles down the road as well as a home Lakers game. For USC to have a packed house in that scenerio, it had to play someone with more clout than Rutgers. I'm waiting to see how the tv ratings did for Rutgers @ USC for a late Friday night game that didn't start until 11pm. I think anything over 1 million viewers would have to please Fox, which in the grand scheme of things means it doesn't really matter how many were in the stands. [/QUOTE]
