Don't get me wrong, I love UConn rank but look at some of the schools we aspire to be? North Carolina, Virginia, UCLA, Ohio State, Michigan etc. In 1980, UCLA had an admission rate of 74%, now it is 8.6%. Is the world better off because of these public institutions become super elite?
