So with the B1G division setup, Wisconsin is now basically assured of getting a spot in the B1G Championship game and a shot at a BCS (Rose) Bowl.

In the 'leaders' division, both Penn State and Ohio State are on NCAA sanctions and not eligible for post season games. So that leaves Wisconsin, Purdue, Illinois, and Indiana as the teams battling for the championship game spot. Which should be a cake-walk for Wisconsin.

Although part of me hopes that Wisconsin wins the 'Leaders Division' with a 7-5 record and upsets a Nebraska or Michigan in the B1G Championship game to get the BCS (Rose) Bowl spot. We'll see if there is as much criticism of that as their was of UConn going to the Fiesta (we all know the answer to that one).

As if those would be comparable circumstances.

Of course they'd be comparable. Weak (by BCS standards) team gets conference championship due to parity, lucky breaks, and a key victory.

If it had been WVU instead of us with the same record, etc. nobody would have said a word. And they won't complain about Wisconsin either considering they were top 10 the last two years.
