Big 12 Studios, launched in conjunction with Raycom Sports, will focus on “storytelling” rather than game production.
I wonder what type of carriage rate they can garner without having any live sports on the channel? It will just be storytelling and reruns of old games. It will be interesting to see how profitable this could be for the 16 schools. I'm not sure it will amount to much, but when you are trying to do everything possible to not fall behind, every dollar helps.
