Two players I like to watch. Gustafson for Iowa and Buss for Indiana. Iowa crushing Indiana 20-8 Gustafson killing them with 12 pts although Buss makes an end of quarter 3pt.

Gustafson putting on a show. 16 pts - 10 rb with 3+ in 2Q. Add assist and block 0 TO and 0 PF.
At this point of the season Megan Gustafson is the Big 10 POY and should EASILY be 1st Team AA. She is leading the NCAA in scoring and 5th in rebounding. That would automatically take out Kelsey Mitchell out the running for POY awards. Too bad noone (except ME!) saw this coming.

This is the first time that I have seen Iowa, and I have seen Indiana a couple of times during their current win streak, and Iowa looks pretty impressive. However, Indiana is not looking like the team that I saw previously, so I don't know if the reason is Iowa or that Indiana is just having an off day. Regardless, Iowa and Gustafson are rolling in an impressive manner. March must be right around the corner...

Indiana has won 8 in a row. But Iowa has been steamrolling this game.

Iowa is one of only 3 Big Ten teams (along with Ohio State and Maryland) that are safely in the tournament at this point. Michigan and Rutgers are probably in but not yet a lock. Then you have Indiana, Purdue, Minnesota, Nebraska, and Michigan State — five bubble teams currently between #44 and #70 of the RPI. The Big Ten could end up with anywhere between 4 and 9 teams in the tournament.

Gustafson had a monster game 34 pts (15-21) 15 rb 2Blocks. Very tough on the post. :)

Wait, you predicted this at the start of the season?

Absolutely! And to be clear "it" has not happened yet. It would be her being 1st Team AA and the Best player in the conference.

You had her as 3rd team and you had Mitchell as 1st team.
Still, I give you credit for spotting her. She wasn't on a lot of radars in October.

She was not that hard to spot. She was among the best rebounders and scorers returning to WCBB this year. I did an update in December or January that had Kia Nurse and Gustafason on the 10 Player WBCA AA team.

Agree on all this!!!! Gustafson should be a 1st team AA and B1G POY but I am wondering if voting heads will just give it to Mitchell because she is all time leading scorer in B1G. For me hands down its Megan Gustafson.
