UConn Football just posted on Twitter that North American B-25 Mitchell “Miss Hap” will fly over The Rent during national anthem. Another reason to get in your seats early. I'm excited!

“Miss Hap” is the oldest surviving B-25 having been the 4th off the North American Aviation Production Line in 1940.

Captain Doolittle and (about) 20 others were some of the true heros of WW II. They flew (again about) 6 B-25's in the first attack against the Japan mainland. Only a handful of these brave men survived. We owe them, and many others, a LOT. Freedom isn't free.

I'm really interested in having the parachute guys again. You know, the ones where 5 of the 7 landed out in the parking lot because of how windy it was.
West Virginia game I believe.

At the Army-Yale game (100th anniversary of the Yale Bowl), five cadets will jump out of a helicopter to deliver the game ball. My guess is going out of a chopper would make hitting the mark a little easier.

I think this is awesome. I'm a huge WWII aviation junky. Would be even cooler if they could get that B-17 and P-51 that was recently at Bradley to fly over. Would love to get a flight in a B-17 before they all get scrapped/preserved and not flown. I know you can do it at Oxford airport but I don't quite have $500 to spare for the flight.

never mind that, the P-51 rides cost 2 grand

Diaco just got notice of this. He decided that the plane will taxi through the parking lot as anything in the air is dangerous.

I see what you did there.

My bad on the number reverse but the forum doesn't let you edit the title unfortunately. Still love the flyover though.
Huh...I saw a WWII flyover at a NASCAR race. They must have had 20 WWII aircraft come over. They didn't move fast but they were cool to see.

Best fly over in the history of fly overs. Job well done. SMH. Is everything here not a joke.
