Azzi Fudd finds her faith and confidence. Now she's ready to lead the UConn women's basketball team (gifted)
In person, it’s hard not to notice what feels like a new, physical glow surrounding Fudd. She doesn’t stop smiling. She’s light on her feet, carrying her shoulders back with peace, poise, and positivity. There’s no denying that Fudd has stepped into a new, more confident, and more authentic skin, and, thanks to the work she put into her mental health off the court, is seemingly thriving.
Fudd began talking to a sports psychologist. She was hesitant at first, but found peace in opening herself up to a new perspective. Thanks to the help of a professional, she began looking at her mistakes with curiosity. Instead of getting hard on herself, she paused to think of how she could have done better, acknowledging the right solution and prioritizing it the next time.
And a lot of detail on her whirlwind schedule. I'm exhausted just reading about it, lol.
