Azurá Stevens was at Duke today, for her final physical therapy appointment.

She is going to Phoenix tomorrow to train there.

Maybe I'm the only one here but I suddenly feel like I have entered the movie half way through.
Azura was obviously injured and required therapy. Where and when?
Azura plays WNBA ball for the Chicago Sky. Why Duke for rehab?

She had a nagging knee injury that really hindered her performance when she was in the bubble and eventually left to have surgery on it -- I think she left towards the end of August.

And I'd imagine she's doing her rehab at Duke so she can be close to home. It seems that a lot of the WNBA players, unless they big contracts or are married, don't seem to plant permanent roots while they're still playing -- which makes sense when you think about how much time they spend abroad.
