Any word on if Aubrey and Caroline will be able to play Sat? I didn't see any hit to CD's head area at Creighton, so I wonder if it was something associated with her prior problem. Also, I presume Amari is back and that it's likely too soon to hear any of Azzi's test results. It will be so nice when we have all of them back on the court.

Aubrey will probably be back... supposedly her positive was around the 22nd/23rd.

I played back the last minute of the game and yes she did get a blow to her temple. From the angle of the view can't really tell how hard she was hit.

There is a tweet that shows Amari was watching the UConn game on a flight to Hartford so yes Amari is back.

Even if Azzi gets great news on "tests", she still has to work back into game shape (conditioning) - one to two weeks?

I guess Amari didn't fly SouthWest.

No way they’d hold Azzi back two weeks if her MRI is clean today. I’d expect her available Saturday, maybe not playing maybe coming off the bench, and starting against Butler.

In this case, 2+2 doesn't =4. She was using the ice on her head and neck in the 3rd Qtr.

Cajun, you're right. She took an elbow on the top of her head with about 1 :30 to go, but she had already been using an ice bag in the 3rd Qtr, unless my eyes have completely failed me. When she took the elbow at the end of the game, she appeared dazed and immediately came out and got an ice bag so I wonder if she had two incidents or if the earlier use of an icebag was just a precaution due to her prior neck issues.. Unlike a few posters in other threads, I did not think her game was an improvement from S Hall. Not tremendous regression, but also not an improvement in my judgment.

We can't afford to lose her if Yanna continues to miss every shot she takes, especially 1 foot on in. We will be needing minute-eaters as we work through the rest of the schedule so CD and an improved Y. Patterson will become very important to ensure everyone retains their legs.

Does anyone know if Griffin was symptomatic? If she was, the Covid protocol may not let her play Saturday. My wife had Covid in late September (she was sick for a couple of weeks) and her Dr said isolate for 5 days after a positive tests with no symptoms and if you have Covid symptoms isolate for 10 days after the symptoms disappear.

Of course there has been so much Covid misinformation/confusion, who knows.

Covid information is changing all the time since the beginning (In Every Country). You do not want to give it to others on the team.
