It's funny, I was talking to the girl's mom, and she's confused why she's going to Syracuse. The girl has a passion for interior design, got into a few NYC schools and LA based schools (plus a few art schools) but really liked Syracuse for some reason. The mom loves traveling and would have had no issue if she went to college in California, so she's definitely bummed for the 4 hour drive to Syracuse.
