Raise your hand if you had Stella Johnson and Blake Dietrick pegged as starters this season.

24-22 ATL end of first

Williams 9 pts, 1 reb, 2 ast

Mystics have some new players. Sug Sutton, Gemelos

Typical Antonelli game. It's close but she's talking about golf and other unrelated topics.

75-63 WAS end of third

STELLA! 20 pts, 2 reb, 3 ast, 1 stl

Meesseman has 9 assists. She must be turning into Candace Parker.

Williams 30-8-7 with 4:40 left

Great opportunity for Stella, after being cut by another team previously. She took advantage of it! 25 points, 8-13 from the floor.

Atlanta had 2 players score 30 or more (Laney, C. Williams) but still came up short.

Hines-Allen had another good game, 23 points on 10-14 shooting.

This Stella Johnson story is really quite remarkable. Maybe Autumn has a chance. And watching the game, there is nothing really explosive about her athletically. Just confident and knows what to do.

Seattle's glue player Alysha Clark was a second round pick in 2010 by Phoenix. Didn't make the league until signed as FA in 2012. Pretty much the same type of player. Led nation in scoring in college, does all the things needed to win games.
