Chicago's offense was on a roll in the second half. Unsurprisingly, now that both Quigley and Dolson are fit again, Chicago looks much better.

Where is A. Coates? Is she not fully recovered from her injury? I am not a Chicago fan. Just curious. Is she still adapting to the WNBA? I guess this is her rookie season and there are more talented players in front of her.

Pretty much this, I think. She's behind Dolson, Parker, and Ndour (in that order) in the pecking order. I don't know if her conditioning needs work or she's just slow but that's one issue I've noticed as well.

Thanks for the info. She was a very high draft pick. How will she live up to the hype? Who is a better value (excluding experience), Courtney Paris or Alena Coates?

Coates was a #2 pick. She needs to be a difference maker. I’ll cut her slack because of the injury and inexperience, but she needs to contribute by next season.

After starting 2-13, Diamond finished a much-better 7-11. Still, 9-24 isn’t great, but it tops Angel’s ugly 1-11.

She’s actually better than I thought she would be. I didn’t think she had a shot of doing anything in WNBA

Chicago needed to to trade the #2 pick, because center was not a position they needed. Last year the Sky had 4 centers on the team. With Dolson healthy, Parker playing really good and Ndour, there is no playing time available for Coates.

The sky draft choices last year were dismal. Coates #2, Tori Jankowski #9 (didn't make team), Chantal oshafor 2nd round did not make team, Mikayla Epps 3rd round made team but did not play much, this year she was cut. This year much better draft choices, but free agent Alex Montgomery has been a bust , has not shown anything on defense or offense.
